The H.C. Andersen Festivals take place in week 34, where Odense becomes the setting for enchanting cultural activities for all age groups. A recognizable H.C. Andersen universe is present in theater performances, lectures, and guided tours, but equally, there are unique elements such as Street Art, concerts, light shows, and much more - activities that are in line with H.C. Andersen's artistic universe and provide ample fuel for the imagination.
The vision for the festival is a week of cultural and festive events aimed at increasing awareness of Odense both nationally and internationally through the world of H.C. Andersen.
